The Acara Challenge competition provides U of Minnesota students the opportunity to pitch their idea for funding.

What’s your social venture idea? The best time to get your venture started is now, but it will take critical feedback, mentorship, connections and seed funding to get started. The University of Minnesota Acara Challenge is a great opportunity for UMN students to pitch their plan. Outside competitions and fellowships can also serve as entry points to access a wider audience as well as more serious early stage capital. Here are some opportunities you might consider.
